We propose: curiosity, resourcefulness, playfulness, self-expression, and belonging.

MISSION: The mission of Undriving™ is to activate people’s innate curiosity, creativity, and resourcefulness to make more conscious, active transportation choices, and to discover and share the joys inherent in car-free travel. Our innovative Undriver Licensing™ program reduces carbon emissions, eases parking and congestion, and enhances community connections. Undriving is changing the way people think about getting around.

VISION: We envision a world filled with connected, resourceful people living in peace with their planet by getting around with ingenuity instead of fossil fuels, whenever possible. For our part, we intend to create an automated Online Undriver Licensing Station so that anyone, anywhere, can get licensed, 24/7 – and develop an active community of Undrivers sharing stories, resources, and inspiration. We also plan to develop a toolkit that will make it possible for the program to be delivered on a much larger scale in many different contexts, by us and many others. We envision Undriving becoming a national – even international – movement.
